Bill was born and raised in Bethlehem (PA) and graduated from Kutztown State College with a Bachelors degree in education. He began his working life as a teacher in the Lehigh Valley area (Emmaus High School). It was while he and his wife were looking for their first home that Bill became interested in real estate. He obtained his real estate license in 1975 and began working in the business on a part-time basis while continuing his teaching career.
Over the course of the next 30 years Bill continued his education, and his career in education, earning three more college degrees and becoming a school administrator. With an earned doctorate in Educational Administration (from Temple University, 1994), Bill is probably one of the most highly educated realtors you will find anywhere.
While pursuing his school career, Bill moved his family to central Pennsylvania in 1982 when he began working at the Northern Lebanon School District. Bill has lived in Myerstown since 1982.
Bill and his wife, Karen, have been married for 45 years and have raised three children here, two of whom still live in Lebanon County. Bill and Karen love nothing more than to spend time with their growing family, which now includes ten grandchildren.
Now that he has retired from his former career in school administration, Bill has been able to devote himself fully to his work in real estate. In his first year working full time in the real estate business, Bill’s listings and sales represented more than $1.4 million in property value sold, all from homes in the low- and mid- price ranges. That was ten years ago.
His clients love working with Bill, because he consistently places them first. He is attentive to his clients’ needs and works hard to gain and keep their trust. In every transaction, his aim is to provide the most smooth and pleasant experience possible for his clients. Bill is a member of the Council of Residential Specialists and holds a CRS certification.
